VISIT OF CHINA’S CHAIRMAN XI JINPING TO KAZAKHSTAN

The visit of President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan is an important signal. It confirms the high level of trust between our countries and emphasizes Kazakhstan’s role as a reliable and strategically important partner in the region.

It is especially significant for the academic community. After all, it is in the sphere of education, science and technology that a solid basis for long-term cooperation is formed. Kazakh and Chinese universities are already implementing joint projects, developing the exchange of students and scientists, and conducting research on the key challenges of our time – from sustainable development to digital technologies.

It is particularly symbolic that Xi Jinping is once again visiting Kazakhstan, the country where the “One Belt, One Road” initiative was once announced. This once again emphasizes that we are not just participants in global processes, but active co-authors of new formats of interaction in Eurasia.

Strengthening of educational and scientific ties with China will be one of the key directions of bilateral dialog. Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is open to partnership and ready to contribute to the development of intellectual potential of the region.
