PRACTICAL SEMINAR ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION HELD AT THE “DANA BALA” CENTER

Today, a practical seminar on inclusive education for school teachers of the region was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the East Kazakhstan branch of JSC “Orleu” National Center for Professional Development.

The seminar took place at the “Dana Bala” Center for Lifelong and Inclusive Education. The speaker was the head of the center, Alima Alipova.

As part of the event, a tour of the “Dana Bala” center was conducted, along with engaging trainings on working with children with special educational needs. Teachers were introduced to methods of working in inclusive education settings, as well as author-developed technological and methodological solutions created by university faculty.

These developments are being implemented under the project “Competence Center for Psychological and Pedagogical Training and Technical-Methodological Support of Children with Special Educational Needs,” led by Dosym Yerbolatuly and Rauan Baychinov.

— Today we visited a unique center. Its facilities are of a high standard, and the programs are fully adapted for children with special educational needs. We were introduced to various effective methods and gained practical experience. It was truly valuable and useful for us, — shared seminar participant Tatyana Pavlova.
