AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY STUDENT WINS GOLD AT THE VI REPUBLICAN YOUTH GAMES

Alexey Khlystov, a track and field athlete and student of Amanzholov University, took the first place at the VI Republican Youth Games, which were held from June 19 to 21 in Almaty. The young man surpassed the competitors in javelin throwing with a worthy result of 67.10.

Alexey smilingly admits that this is his new personal record.

Today the athlete is preparing for the next competition – in a week starts the Cup of Kazakhstan.

Note, Alexey Khlystov is a fourth-year student of the educational program “Physical Education and Sports” at Amanzholov University. Despite the busy schedule, he successfully combines his sports career and academic activities.
