AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY GRADUATE AWARDED BY KASYM-JOMART TOKAYEV

The head of state congratulated representatives of the journalistic community on the upcoming professional holiday – the Day of Mass Media Workers, praising their role in society.

Representatives of the media gathered in Akorda, where Talgatzhan Mukhamadiev, editor-in-chief of the East Kazakhstan regional newspaper “Menin Olkem” and Buqara.kz website, was awarded on behalf of President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.

Talғatzhan Mukhametbekuly graduated from the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, specializing in “Journalism”.

He began his career in 2015 as a correspondent of the newspaper “Aldaspan” in East Kazakhstan region. He worked as a journalist in the regional newspaper “Meninң Olkem”, as well as own correspondent in the East Kazakhstan region of the republican publications “Zhas Qazaq” and “Zan”. Currently, he is the editor-in-chief of the Buqara.kz website and the Meninң Olkem newspaper.
