EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY DEVELOPS COOPERATION WITH POLISH UNIVERSITIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF ERASMUS+

Kazakhstan and Poland are actively developing bilateral cooperation in various spheres. Poland considers Kazakhstan as a key political partner in Central Asia. There is active academic and scientific interaction between the universities of both countries in the areas of academic mobility, science and ERASMUS+.

Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation Irina Rovnyakova and Head of the Department of Strategy, International Cooperation and Accreditation Dana Nigmanova within the framework of the academic mobility program are lecturing at the Academy of Social and Medical Sciences (Poland, Lublin). This is a university with many years of experience and a strong position in the educational market. The Academy offers unified master’s studies in psychology and physiotherapy, as well as first and second cycle studies in specializations with social and medical profile.

Irina Rovnyakova presented the directions of development of Kazakhstani universities in the field of internationalization of education and touched upon the participation in international projects ERASMUS+. In turn, the participants of the lecture familiarized themselves with the activities of East Kazakhstan University. The speech of the Vice-Rector of the alma mater aroused interest of both Polish colleagues and professors of the University of Indonesia – University Trisakti. During the lecture new projects within the framework of ERASMUS+ with Polish universities and the development of partnerships with Indonesian universities were actively discussed.
