TRAMPOLINE TO THE FUTURE: GRADUATION OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY-2025
The annual diploma award ceremony for AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY students has officially begun at the “Ertis Concert” venue. Today, graduates of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, as well as the Higher School of Business and Law, have officially become qualified specialists, ready to embark on their professional careers.
This year, the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences graduated 534 students, 56 of whom earned their diplomas with honors. According to the results of 2024, the school was recognized as the best at the university for its organization of student research activities.
A total of 774 students from the school completed training on the international Coursera platform, earning 1,143 certificates. Additionally, 35 students went abroad as part of the academic mobility program. With these impressive results, the rector of EKU, Mukhtar Tolegen, congratulated the faculty and the graduates.
“Today is more than just a milestone — it’s a springboard into the future, filled with exciting discoveries, major projects, and well-deserved victories. You have come a long way, full of hard work, intense research, innovative thinking, and professional growth. I wish you continued success and the realization of your dreams,” said the university’s head.
During the event, the rector ceremoniously presented diplomas with honors, letters of appreciation to the most active students, and military IDs to the graduates of the Kabangbai Batyr Military Department.
“Dear Mukhtar Adilbekovich! On behalf of all the students of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation. Your creative, ambitious, and strategic thinking inspired us to achieve more and helped us overcome any difficulties. Your quick responses to our requests, genuine care, and attention created an environment for our growth, talent development, and quality education,” said the graduates in their address.
The academic year was also significant for students of the Higher School of Business and Law. According to Dean Asel Apysheva, 24 educational programs from the school successfully passed accreditation by the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), receiving five-year accreditations. This confirms the high quality of training and compliance with international standards. Nineteen students studied abroad, while another 75 participated in the internal academic mobility program.
“Today, 276 of our students have completed their studies. These are not just numbers — they are a testament to achievement, talent, and perseverance. I am confident that our graduates will make an invaluable contribution to the development of our country,” said Asel Apysheva.
The event in honor of these newly qualified professionals continued with a vibrant concert program. Creative groups from the East Kazakhstan Region performed for the guests, who came with bright bouquets and colorful balloons. The artists delighted the audience with musical performances and dynamic dance routines.
Graduates and their families noted that the university leadership creates an unforgettable celebration every year, bringing joy and positive emotions to all attendees.
