CHAPTER 2025: A NEW GENERATION OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY GRADUATES

The atmosphere of a large-scale celebration continues to hang in the East Kazakhstan Philharmonic Society. Today the graduates of the Higher School of Pedagogy and the Higher School of Humanities of Amanzholov University received their cherished diplomas confirming their hard work.

In 2025, 329 students graduated from the Higher School of Humanities, 36 of whom are excellent students. Student success rate exceeded 85%, which indicates a high level of training, responsibility of graduates and impeccable work of the teaching staff. On the solemn day the rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen announced the achievements, which not only the school, but also the whole university is proud of:

85 students – holders of the sign “Altyn Belgi”
24 students from Mongolia, Russia and Germany are studying at East Kazakhstan University
16 students became scholarship holders of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
3 – winners of the S. Amanzholov scholarship
4 – holders of the Abai scholarship
– Graduates of the Higher School of Humanities have proved that humanities education is modern, in demand and competitive. Let great achievements await you ahead, let the knowledge gained in the walls of Amanzholov University, will be a strong support in your professional life! Today the Higher School of Humanities trains specialists in 17 educational programs. Of these, six new programs have been developed taking into account the requirements of the labor market and modern challenges. Training highly qualified specialists capable of adapting to global trends is our priority task,” said Mukhtar Tolegen.

-Today is a special day for all of us. It is a day of victory for our children, achieved through the pursuit of knowledge. We are very grateful to the university administration for organizing a great holiday, – said the mother of East Kazakhstan University graduate Saule Rauanova.

Bright emotions and pride for their graduates are also shared in the Higher School of Pedagogy, which is rightfully considered one of the oldest units of Amanzholov University. Founded in 1958, the school has made an invaluable contribution to the training of specialists for the educational system of Kazakhstan. During this time, more than 10,000 teachers have been trained here.

Dean of the Higher School of Pedagogy Gulnara Kulenova noted that in January the results of the rating of educational programs of Kazakhstani universities, which was conducted by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, were published. Four educational programs of HSE were among the top three: “Initial Military Training”, “Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education”, ‘Psychology’ and “Music Education”.

In addition, students of the educational programs “Physical Education and Sports” and “Recreational Physical Education” are traditionally winners of multi-participant sports events. This year master of sports of international class, participant of the Olympic Games “Tokyo-2020”, finalist of the world championship in swimming Nurali Sovetkanov, master of sports, world champion of 2021 Magzhan Sherizatov, master of sports of international class in MMA Free Fighting Bakzhanar Nurlanbekuly and others graduated from the university.

-You begin a new stage in your life. Today you leave the walls of the university not just as graduates, but as full-fledged specialists. I wish you confidence, bright achievements and right decisions, – said Gulnara Kulenova.

Let us note that education is not just a personal achievement, it is a strategic resource of the state. Training of highly qualified, responsible and patriotic citizens is the key task that faces the system of higher education in the conditions of global transformations.

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev has repeatedly emphasized: youth is the backbone of the state, its success is the success of the whole nation. That is why today the country needs educated, principled and initiative young people who are able to make decisions, create and take responsibility for the future of Kazakhstan.

Graduates of Amanzholov University are young professionals who will carry knowledge into society, shape values, educate the new generation and strengthen the spiritual foundation of the nation. Their professional path is a continuation of the state mission aimed at sustainable development, social justice and intellectual renewal of the country.
