EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GENOA

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in the international conference on “Education in Emergency Situations”, held on the basis of the University of Genoa (Italy).

Irina Rovnyakova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation, made a report at the plenary session, presenting the experience of East Kazakhstan University in ensuring the sustainability of the educational process in crises.

Within the framework of the conference the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation, including the development of dual degree programs, as well as joint activities of the INNOCREA Center. Note that the INNOCREA center is a platform for the integration of scientific and technological achievements in the development of sustainable solutions for the countries of Central Asia and Eastern Europe and unites the universities of Kazakhstan, Italy and Moldova.

Recall that in 2025 East Kazakhstan University won a three-year Erasmus+ project on academic exchange of faculty and students with the University of Genoa, which will be a new stage in strengthening international partnership.
