FROM SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY: A DIALOGUE WITH AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A meeting was held at Sagadat Nurmagambetov Secondary School No. 4 with the parents of 10th–11th grade students, dedicated to the issues of preparation for the Unified National Testing and the choice of further educational pathways for graduates.

Representatives of the Department of Mathematics of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in the event. As part of the career guidance work, the specialists provided detailed information about in-demand fields of study, the specifics of educational programs, academic opportunities, and the advantages of studying at the university.

Special attention was paid to the admission rules, the format and timeline of the Unified National Testing, the conditions for participating in the competition for educational grants, as well as the prospects for further employment of graduates. Parents were given a clear explanation of the document submission procedure and recommendations on choosing a major based on the students’ interests and abilities.

During the open dialogue, participants received answers to their questions and individual consultations on building an educational trajectory for their children. Such meetings help strengthen cooperation between the school, parents, and the higher education institution, and assist prospective applicants in making an informed career choice.
