PEDAGOGICAL FORESIGHT SESSION AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A strategic pedagogical foresight session was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University on the topic:
“Regional Strategy for Career Guidance of School Students in the East Kazakhstan Region. Atlas of New Professions of the East Kazakhstan Region.”

The session brought together representatives of the Department of Education of the East Kazakhstan Region, schools, colleges, and universities, employers, career guidance specialists, representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the East Kazakhstan Region, the Career Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as labor market experts.

The purpose of the event was to develop a regional model for career guidance and career support for school students, identify key challenges and opportunities, and formulate concrete mechanisms of cooperation between educational institutions, the university, and employers to train in-demand graduates.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Mukhtar Tolegen, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, and Arailym Yesimbekova, Director of the Labor Mobility Center of the East Kazakhstan Region.

As part of the foresight session, a memorandum on strategic partnership was signed between the region’s educational organizations and Amanzholov University, aimed at the systematic development of career guidance activities and the training of competitive specialists.
