A UNIQUE METHODOLOGICAL KIT FOR SPEECH THERAPISTS WAS DEVELOPED AT THE DANA BALA CENTER

According to Alima Alipova, head of the Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education “Dana Bala”, within the framework of the project, Amanzholov University has developed “LOGO Korzhyn”, which, like the Kazakh national bag “Korzhyn”, consists of two parts. One part is diagnostic, the second part is corrective-developmental. It includes manuals, didactic materials and methodical instructions for their use. The development includes elements of ethno-pedagogy. It includes materials on speech development. That is, starting from the pronunciation of sounds to the development of speech in general. Included: a diagnostic card, a manual for fine articulation motor skills, a speech therapy album, a manual for sound automation, a device for breathing exercises and other attachments.

– For example, the manual with QR code helps children with stuttering, – Alima Alipova explained. – They get an opportunity to correct their speech by means of song, melody and music, access to which is provided by a QR code in the book.

According to the head of the Center, the uniqueness of “LOGO Korzhyn” is that it can be used by both specialists (defectologists, speech therapists) and parents and students. “LOGO Korzhyn” can be used both in correctional rooms and have it for personal use. It is a completely ready set for speech therapist’s work, which includes everything for his work.
