A TEAM OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY TEACHERS RECEIVED THE COPYRIGHT FOR A COMPREHENSIVE METHODOLOGY TO PREPARE CHILDREN FOR SCHOOL

A team of teachers from Amanzholov University under the leadership of Rector Mukhtar Tolegen received the copyright for a comprehensive method of preparing children for school.

The Centre for Continuing and Inclusive Education “Dana bala” has been functioning in the structure of East Kazakhstan University for the third year. During this time the university has obtained a licence to engage in educational activities in the field of primary education. Teachers of the Centre develop new, innovative methods and techniques of development and education of children of different levels.

-We, together with our colleagues, have been working for a year on a comprehensive programme for preparing children for school and adapting them to both group and individual learning. The developed programme provides preparation of children of 5-6 years old for school taking into account individual features during 9 months. Preparing a child for school is a whole set of knowledge, skills and abilities that a preschooler should possess. Our team of developers of the complex programme took into account physiological, psychological and cognitive aspects of the child’s readiness, including children with special educational needs, – said the head of the Centre for Continuing and Inclusive Education “Dana bala” Alima Alipova.

It should be noted that now every child, including children with special educational needs, has the opportunity to undergo a school readiness programme in an exciting educational environment at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
