THE PROCEDURE FOR SETTLING STUDENTS IN STUDENT HOUSES
CURRENT REQUIREMENTS for University and Graduate College students to move into Student Houses for the 2025-2026 academic year
1- Enrollment of 1st year students in Student Houses will be conducted from August 20 to September 1, 2025 in online and offline formats.
“Student Housing Required” must be checked when officially registering on the University website (https://vku.edu.kz/). When you submit your documents to the Admissions Office, the technical secretary will print a special electronic application. With this application and the required documents, the student will be able to move into the appropriate student house.
2 The procedure for the settlement of senior students:
2.1 Students of 2nd to 4th year between August 28 and September 5, 2025 submit an online application on the University portal: https://vku.edu.kz.
2.2 The online application is coordinated by the Dean of Graduate Studies and the Division of Educational and Social Affairs. After signing the ready application with a QR code will be available in the student’s personal cabinet.
2.3 The student prints out the ready application form and together with the necessary documents submits it to the corresponding student house for accommodation.
3. Required documents for check-in:
1. An electronic application addressed to the Rector according to Appendix #1, with the approval of the Dean of the Graduate School and the Department of Educational Work and Social Affairs;
2. copy of the ID card;
3. 4 photos 3×4 cm;
4. certificate from the place of study;
5. Additional documents (if available):
– Copy of parents’ death certificate or certificate from the orphanage;
– Certificate of disability.
