In the field of digital education, the Coursera platform carefully selects high-quality content that meets high standards. The EKU teacher’s course was prepared in full compliance with these requirements. Each module of the online course includes short video lectures, practical assignments, and visual materials.

The author’s course is called “Kazakh Epic.” The epic is not only part of the culture of the Kazakh people, but also an important heritage of world civilization. The online course is designed for students majoring in Philology, Turkology, Journalism, Kazakh Language and Literature, as well as future teachers studying at schools with other languages of instruction in the field of Kazakh Language and Literature.

Bakytzhan Kelgembayeva noted that after the course is fully integrated into the Coursera platform, subtitles in other languages will be added so that students from different countries can take the course. This will be an important step in promoting Kazakh literature internationally.

The course consists of four modules. It examines the characteristics of the epic as a historical, cultural, and literary monument, and also provides future philologists with the skills to work with artistic texts and analyze epic works. Another feature of the course is the study of the most famous versions of Kazakh epic works from among more than four hundred existing ones, the author said.

According to the teacher, the course is not limited to academic materials. Elements of visual learning, excerpts from real epics, and materials explaining the historical context are widely used.
