A GRANT AWARDED TO A STUDENT FROM A LOW-INCOME FAMILY

A graduate of Secondary School No. 11 in the city of Altai, Ekaterina Malinovskaya, from a low-income family, has been awarded an educational grant to study at the largest and most prestigious university in the region — Amanzholov University.

The ceremony was attended by Rector of EKU Mukhtar Tolegen, Prosecutor of East Kazakhstan Region Almat Baisholakov, and Ekaterina Malinovskaya’s relatives.

Earlier, the “I and the Law” competition was held, organized by representatives of the East Kazakhstan Regional Prosecutor’s Office. Based on its results, the candidate was considered by the Academic Council of her alma mater for admission to the Higher School of Business and Law. By unanimous decision of the Council members, Ekaterina was approved for a four-year grant. Now she will receive free education at Amanzholov University in the specialty “Judicial and Prosecutorial Activities.” In addition, she will be provided with comfortable accommodation in the university dormitory.

“Our university always supports talented, promising, and active youth because the younger generation is the future of our state. Today, they are the ones who determine what Kazakhstan will be tomorrow: competitive, innovative, and resilient to the challenges of time. I am convinced that supporting young people is not just a social responsibility, but a crucial element of national policy,” said Mukhtar Tolegen.

According to the grant recipient’s mother, Alexandra Muravina, this is not just significant support, but also an important stage in life that will lead to new horizons.
