A LECTURER OF AMANZHOLY UNIVERSITY TOOK PART IN A SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL SEMINAR ON THE DIGITALIZATION OF AGRO-INDUSTRIAL LOGISTICS HELD AT ALMAU UNIVERSITY
From December 23 to 26, 2025, in the city of Almaty at AlmaU University, Assel Apysheva, Professor of the Department of Economics, Management, and Finance at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University and Candidate of Economic Sciences, conducted a scientific and practical seminar. The seminar was devoted to the topic “Digitalization of Agro-Industrial Logistics: From Monitoring and Analytics to Integrated Supply Chains.”
The event was organized within the framework of the research project “Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Internal Dairy Subsystem of the Region’s Agro-Industrial Complex in the Context of Digital Logistics” (IRN AR 26101867). The main focus of the project is to improve the efficiency of production and logistics chains through the implementation of digital logistics in the agro-industrial complex.
Master’s and doctoral students enrolled in the educational programs “Digital Logistics,” “Content, Marketing and Data Analysis,” “Management,” and “Marketing” took part in the seminar. Participants became familiar with modern tools for the digitalization of logistics processes in the agro-industrial complex, data analysis methods, and models for managing integrated supply chains.
The primary goal of the seminar was to develop students’ comprehensive scientific understanding of the digital transformation of agro-industrial logistics and to highlight its role in enhancing the efficiency of supply chain management.
The event was held in the format of lectures and academic discussions combined with the analysis of practical cases and scientific publications. This approach contributed to the development of critical thinking, analytical abilities, and research skills among master’s and doctoral students. In addition, participants gained skills in the scientific interpretation of the impact of the digital economy on the agro-industrial complex.
The knowledge and practical experience acquired during the seminar can be effectively applied in the future in the preparation of master’s and doctoral theses, scientific articles, as well as applied research in the field of the digital economy and agro-industrial logistics.
As a result of the seminar, students developed professional competencies in digital logistics management and mastered modern approaches to the analysis and integration of supply chains. Their scientific perspective on the processes of digitalization in the agro-industrial complex was also expanded, and their research potential increased.
