A MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A regular meeting of the academic committee was held at the Department of Biology. The main goal of the meeting was to improve the content of educational programs and to systematically develop the learning process.

According to the approved agenda, the participants reviewed a number of educational programs, taking into account the suggestions of employers and students. In particular, discussions focused on updating the curricula for the educational programs “Biology (IP),” “Biology,” “Biology–Natural Sciences,” and “Forest Resources, Hunting, and Beekeeping.” During the discussion, the necessity of aligning the content of courses with modern requirements and enhancing their practical orientation was emphasized. Based on the results of the meeting, a decision was made to introduce the corresponding changes to the curricula.

The second agenda item was dedicated to providing departmental courses with teaching aids, textbooks, and educational-methodological kits for the upcoming academic year. It was noted that a number of educational and methodological materials have been developed for biology and natural sciences. Additionally, lecture courses on specialized disciplines in the “Forest Resources” program were presented. These teaching materials will contribute to improving the quality of the educational process.

The meeting also addressed the development of academic mobility programs. The need to expand cooperation with partner educational organizations was emphasized. For the upcoming academic periods, the participation of students in academic mobility programs is planned.

The decisions made were assessed as systematic measures aimed at improving the learning process. The implementation of these initiatives will contribute to enhancing the quality of educational programs and ensuring the competitiveness of the university’s graduates.
