A MEETING TO EXPLAIN THE DRAFT OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Today, a meeting dedicated to explaining the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was attended by Chairman of the Board – Rector Mukhtar Tolegen, members of the university’s leadership, and students. During the meeting, the key directions of the constitutional amendments and their impact on public life were thoroughly discussed.

The main objective of the event was to familiarize students with the upcoming constitutional reforms and to enhance their legal literacy. Rector Mukhtar Tolegen emphasized the importance of the draft Constitution in clarifying the rights and responsibilities of citizens, as well as improving the effectiveness of public administration. Participants also received detailed answers to their questions.

Students actively engaged in the discussion, asking questions about the impact of the new constitutional provisions on education and the social rights of young people. Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Gulmira Bairkenova, provided comprehensive explanations of the legal aspects, supporting them with specific examples. This contributed to a deeper understanding of the constitutional changes and strengthened students’ legal awareness.

During the event, the main innovations of the draft Constitution and its key principles were presented. Visual materials, slides, and practical examples were used to enhance clarity, enabling participants to better understand the information and freely express their opinions.

In conclusion, the Rector called on students to take an active civic stance and emphasized the importance of participation in processes related to constitutional reforms. The event was recognized as a significant initiative aimed at fostering legal culture and developing civic responsibility within the framework of the university’s educational mission.
