A REGIONAL CASE-CONFERENCE FOCUSED ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION TOOK PLACE IN UST-KAMENOGORSK

A regional case conference was held at School No. 41 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. More than 140 representatives from the fields of education, healthcare, social protection, as well as universities, schools, colleges, and the parent community participated in the event. The conference was organized as part of the First World Congress on Inclusion and timed to coincide with International Defectologist Day.

The conference brought together heads of regional departments and leading specialists in the education system to discuss ways to improve support systems for children with special educational needs, as well as to strengthen interdepartmental cooperation among professionals.

From Amanzholov University, the plenary session featured Deputy Chairperson — Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation Irina Rovnyakova, who presented a report on the training of teaching staff for inclusive education and the university’s collaboration with the Department of Education. In addition, the Head of the Center for Continuing and Inclusive Education “Dana Bala,” Alima Alipova, presented digital solutions designed to support children with special educational needs, developed within the framework of the scientific and practical center “Dana Bala.”

At the sectional master classes, Yulia Kukina and Rauan Baichinov shared their practical experience. The conference outcomes demonstrated that every child has unique abilities, and coordinated work by specialists allows this potential to be fully realized.

Amanzholov University will continue to support initiatives aimed at the development of inclusion.
