A SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR DEDICATED TO TOURISM AND ECOLOGY WAS HELD AT SARSEN AMANZHOLOV EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, within the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, a scientific and methodological seminar was held as part of the “Young Scientist” research project. The event was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Geography, PhD Nazgul Zhensikbayeva.

The seminar was dedicated to the topic: “Tourism Potential of Eastern Kazakhstan: Historical Heritage, Challenges, Ecological Conservation Aspects, and Development Prospects.”

The main goal of the seminar was to expand the scientific thinking of young researchers, discuss current issues of regional tourism and ecological development, and enhance the research potential of the department through the exchange of scientific experience.

The event was attended by department faculty, graduate students, and young researchers. During the seminar, participants discussed the development of tourism potential in Eastern Kazakhstan, opportunities in historical, cultural, and ecological areas, nature conservation, and sustainable regional development.

The outcomes of the meeting contributed to strengthening scientific collaboration among young researchers, exchanging experience, and stimulating new research initiatives.
