ACADEMIC COUNCIL MEETING
At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a meeting of the Academic Council was held under the chairmanship of the rector. The event brought together faculty members, students, and honored guests from international partner universities.
Speakers at the meeting included Professor Yolanda Masnita and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Husna Leila Yusran from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Trisakti University (Indonesia), Associate Professor Diana Spulber from the University of Genoa (Italy), and Lecturer Nurettin Demir from Hacettepe University (Turkey).
The Council discussed key issues related to the development of international cooperation, the expansion of academic mobility, and the implementation of double-degree programs. The Indonesian delegation expressed gratitude to the rector for the warm welcome and emphasized their commitment to strengthening partnerships with Amanzholov University, implementing joint projects, and promoting student and faculty exchanges.
“In today’s world, cooperation in the field of Turkic languages and linguistics is gaining particular relevance. In this regard, bilateral relations between universities make a significant contribution to the advancement of science and education,” noted Nurettin Demir from Hacettepe University.
Additionally, Professor Diana Spulber from Italy expressed appreciation to the university community, praising the students’ eagerness to learn and their proactive approach. She stated, “Your students are individuals who want to change the future.”
The meeting concluded with an official awards ceremony, during which international delegates were presented with commemorative gifts. The event fostered the strengthening of friendly relations and paved the way for new academic and research initiatives.
