The ORHUN program
The ORHUN Academic Mobility Program is implemented within the framework of cooperation among universities that are members of the Union of Turkic Universities and is aimed at developing educational and scientific collaboration, strengthening inter-university relations, and forming a unified academic space among Turkic states.
The program provides students and members of the academic staff with the opportunity to study, teach, and conduct research at partner universities for one academic semester. Participation in the program contributes to the expansion of academic experience, the development of intercultural communication, the exchange of advanced educational practices, and the enhancement of participants’ competitiveness at the international level.
Within the framework of the program, the recognition of study results in the form of academic credits is ensured in accordance with the current educational standards. Mobility is implemented on the basis of bilateral agreements between universities and in accordance with the regulations of the Union of Turkic Universities.
Participation in the ORHUN program is an important instrument for the internationalization of the university and for strengthening its position in the international educational space.
Students (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels) as well as academic staff of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University may participate in the program.
Requirements for Students and List of Documents:
- only one university and one semester may be selected;
• Grade Point Average (GPA) — not lower than 2.5 out of 4.00;
• completed Student Information Form;
• academic transcript (Transcript);
• all documents must be completed electronically (typed on a computer).
The selection process is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the ORHUN program and the host university.
