AKIM OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY CONGRATULATED STUDENTS OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY ON YOUTH DAY

International Youth Day was celebrated in Ust-Kamenogorsk on a large scale. Akim of East-Kamenogorsk region Nurymbet Saktaganov personally congratulated representatives of the young generation, who make a significant contribution to the social and cultural development of the regional center and the region. Among them are students of Amanzholov University Maria Kolchina, Aru Kasainova and Danil Gonchar. During the solemn event the university activists received letters of thanks.

-We as representatives of the Public Council regularly participate in the public life of the city. Our activity is aimed at openly listening to the opinions of citizens and youth, finding constructive solutions and promoting dialog between the government and society. I thank our Akim Nurymbet Amanovich for the invaluable support of youth initiatives, – said Maria Kolchina.

During the meeting the head of the region also noted the deserved work of the alma mater’s management. Thus, Nurymbet Saktaganov presented Irina Rovnyakova, vice-rector for strategic development and international cooperation, with a letter of thanks for the active implementation of youth policy.

Note that at the beginning of 2024 the number of young people in the country is 5,759,781 people. These are Kazakhstanis aged 14 to 35 years old.
