ALTAI ON THE WORLD STAGE: UNIVERSITY STUDENTS REPRESENT KAZAKHSTAN IN CHINA

From October 1 to 8, the International Festival Association Nationale Cultures du Monde is taking place in Taiyuan, People’s Republic of China, bringing together representatives of cultures from all over the world.

This year, creative groups from Peru, Georgia, Burkina Faso, Bulgaria, Poland, Thailand, Malaysia, India, France, China, Latin American countries, and Kazakhstan are participating in the event. Our country is represented by the “Altai” folk dance ensemble, which includes students and graduates of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. Their performance is more than just a dance — it is the language of the national soul, the energy of the great steppe, and the pride of Kazakh culture.

“Altai” is the calling card of Amanzholov University on the global stage. The young performers proudly bear the title of cultural ambassadors of Kazakhstan, showcasing their professionalism, artistry, and deep respect for national traditions.
