AN AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY LECTURER IS UNDERTAKING AN INTERNSHIP AT THE KYRGYZ-TURKISH MANAS UNIVERSITY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE “ORHUN” PROGRAM

Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Philology and Journalism at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Candidate of Philological Sciences A.A. Alimkhan, is undertaking a research and teaching internship at the Department of Turkology of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University within the framework of the Orhun academic mobility program from February 2 to February 14, 2026.

As part of the academic mobility program, the Kazakhstani philologist delivers lectures and practical classes for undergraduate and master’s students of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. In addition, he organizes scientific and methodological seminars for the university’s teaching staff, sharing experience in modern research areas and teaching methodologies in the field of Turkology.

During the internship, topical issues of Turkological studies are addressed, including the historical development of Turkic languages, comparative linguistics, textology, and the relationship between language and culture. Interactive and innovative teaching methods are widely used in the educational process, contributing to the enhancement of students’ research potential and the development of their professional competencies in an international academic environment.

This exchange of experience is aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation between Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University and Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, expanding scholarly ties, and developing joint projects in the field of Turkology. Such programs contribute not only to the professional development of faculty members, but also to improving the quality of higher education and the international competitiveness of universities.
