AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, A GUEST LECTURE ON THE PREVENTION OF DRUG-RELATED OFFENSES WAS HELD.

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, as part of the methodological week of the School of IT and Natural Sciences, the Department of Biology organized an important guest lecture on the prevention of drug-related offenses. The lecture was delivered by operative officer of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the East Kazakhstan Region Police, Mädi Qaliaqparov.

The topic of the lecture was “Legal Responsibility for Drug-Related Offenses in the Republic of Kazakhstan.” The main goal of the event was to provide a comprehensive explanation of the types of legal responsibility established by the legislation of Kazakhstan for offenses related to narcotic substances, to increase students’ legal literacy, and to promote a culture of offense prevention.

During the lecture, the speaker elaborated on the legal consequences of illegal actions involving narcotic and psychotropic substances, the types of administrative and criminal liability, and the serious repercussions of such offenses for both society and individuals. Concrete examples were used to clearly illustrate the consequences of ignoring legal responsibility.

The lecture aimed to develop students’ legal awareness, cultivate respect for the law, and foster a deep understanding of the seriousness of unlawful actions. At the end of the session, students had the opportunity to ask questions and received detailed and informative answers.

The event made a significant contribution to promoting a healthy lifestyle among students, preventing offenses, and strengthening civic responsibility.
