AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, A ROUND TABLE ON “AN EDUCATED GENERATION — THE FOUNDATION OF INITIATIVES LAUNCHED AT THE NATIONAL KURULTAI” WAS HELD

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a round table was held on the topic “An Educated Generation — The Foundation of Initiatives Launched at the National Kurultai.” The event took place in Academic Building No. 1 and brought together representatives from the fields of education, youth policy, culture, and community development.

The round table was moderated by Didar Seyitjan. The event opened with a welcome address by Zhanneta Kalimoldina, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of the initiatives put forward by the Head of State, including the “Adal Azamat” concept, in youth education and emphasized the role of universities in forming an educated and conscientious generation.

The first report was presented by Aidos Adilbekov, Director of the Youth Resource Center of the East Kazakhstan Region, on the topic “Youth of East Kazakhstan: Strategic Steps Towards National Renewal.” The report examined mechanisms for implementing the President’s “Adal Azamat” concept at the regional level, as well as the achievements of youth in education, science, and culture.

Next, Korlan Tugambaeva, Chair of the regional branch of the youth wing “Zhastar Rukhy” of East Kazakhstan, delivered a report titled “Civic Engagement and Volunteering — The Foundation of a New Ideology,” emphasizing the role of youth organizations in engaging young people in decision-making processes and promoting presidential initiatives.

Bakytzhan Yerbolkyzy, Director of the Youth Resource Center under the Akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk, presented a report on “Urbanization and City Youth: Development of the Creative Industry and Cultural Environment,” focusing on mechanisms for supporting creative projects by urban youth.

Aizhan Kartaeva, Director of the Research Institute “Abaytanu” at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University and Doctor of Philology, delivered a substantive report titled “The ‘Adal Azamat’ Concept and the Relevance of Abay’s Teachings in Modern Society,” highlighting the spiritual and moral significance of Abay’s concept of the “Complete Human” (Толық адам) in educating today’s youth.

Alfiya Bakbayeva, Head of the Exhibition and Exposition Department at the Regional Historical and Local Lore Museum of the East Kazakhstan Department of Culture, presented a report “The Museum — An Institution for Preserving National Memory,” addressing current tasks for the development of historical and local lore museums in the modern era.

During the event, Nazym Amanzholova, Head of the University Museum at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, presented a report on “The Role of the University Museum in Shaping the Historical Consciousness of Youth,” emphasizing the educational significance of museum activities within the academic environment.

At the conclusion of the round table, participants formulated proposals and adopted a resolution. In particular, it was suggested to hold advisory hours linking Abay’s concept of the “Complete Human” (Толық адам) with the “Adal Azamat” initiative, as well as to organize cultural and educational events “Museum — A Mirror of History” to foster patriotism among youth through national relics.
