AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE AUTHOR’S COURSE “MACHINE LEARNING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES” HAS STARTED
From November 24 to December 17, 2025, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is hosting an author’s course “Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technologies” for faculty members and staff. The program is conducted by Denis Yuryevich Kozlov, head of the Department of Informatics at Altai State University, associate professor, and candidate of physical and mathematical sciences.
In today’s world, mastering artificial intelligence (AI) technologies is a strategically important direction for the state. As noted in the Message of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, making AI the core of digital transformation and renewing the economy is one of the key priority tasks of the country. Therefore, this course organized at the university represents a significant step toward developing national digital competencies and training competitive specialists.
During the course, participants will acquire fundamental knowledge of machine learning methods, data analysis, neural network creation, and intelligent systems. These skills enable future specialists to effectively solve complex tasks in automation, analytics, and innovative technologies.
Furthermore, this joint initiative with Altai State University clearly demonstrates the commitment of Sarsen Amanzholov University’s leadership to expanding international partnerships and improving faculty qualifications in digital technologies. Mastering modern AI practices will strengthen the professional potential of the faculty and accelerate the implementation of new digital methods and approaches in the educational process.
The training is conducted entirely online on the IT platform of Altai State University. Participants have access to a series of authorial video lectures and can study the course remotely at their convenience.
This initiative is a concrete response to the state’s needs in the era of artificial intelligence in the field of innovation and workforce development. The project, aligned with the university’s digital development strategy, opens the way to improving the quality of education and strengthening international cooperation.
