The sessions were conducted by experienced specialists from the Department of Culture, Sports, and Basic Military Training—Senior Lecturer Alexander Kruglikov and Associate Professor Marina Kurglikova. Their professional methodology and clear presentation helped participants easily assimilate the new information.
In the theoretical part, participants were introduced to the scientific foundations of therapeutic physical education, types and features of movement therapy, correct exercise techniques, workload regulation, safety rules, and methods for preventing health risks.
Lectures also covered physiological changes in the bodies of older adults, their impact on physical activity, and principles for creating individualized training programs.
Practical sessions took place at the Olga Rypakova Sports Complex. Under the guidance of instructors, participants performed specially designed health-improving exercise routines and reinforced proper ways of physical activity.
