AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE DARK SIDES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE PROBLEMS OF DROPPERISM WERE DISCUSSED

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, an informative lecture was held for second- and third-year students of the “Jurisprudence” and “Information Systems” programs. The lecture was delivered by Ashad Kubashevich Kausov, a colonel and investigator for particularly important cases from the Economic Investigations Service of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.

The topic of the lecture was “The Dark Side of Artificial Intelligence and Dropperism.” During the session, the speaker thoroughly addressed current threats related to the use of artificial intelligence technologies for criminal purposes and explained common dropperism schemes and methods of counteraction.

Additionally, in a separate meeting with third-year students, Ashad Kubashevich presented the features of the micro-qualification program “Methods for Investigating Economic Crimes.” This program is implemented jointly by the university and the Financial Monitoring Agency Department of the East Kazakhstan region.

During the lecture, the speaker:
– provided real-life examples from the practice of investigating economic crimes;
– offered valuable recommendations for building a professional career in economic security;
– explained the requirements for participation in the program;
– answered students’ questions in an open dialogue format.

Students showed great interest in the program during the lecture. The meeting was held in a relaxed and informative atmosphere, contributing to the professional orientation of the students and increasing their interest in practical activities in the field of economic investigations.
