AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE LITERARY AND MUSICAL EVENING “NAURYZ BATA” TOOK PLACE
At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, as part of the Digital Nauryz 2026 decade, a literary and musical evening titled “Nauryz Bata” was held, organized by the Higher School of Business and Law and the Department of Economics, Management, and Finance.
The main goal of the event was to promote the national traditions and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, develop the creative potential of students, and widely convey the spirit of the Nauryz holiday. The evening’s program included rich literary readings and vibrant musical performances, creating a special atmosphere for the audience.
The welcoming speech was delivered by the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Higher School of Business and Law, Aigul Asubaeva, who emphasized the importance of preserving and passing national values to the younger generation. A guest speaker, Bakyt Satbayeva, a member of the Mothers’ Council, addressed the students with warm wishes and spoke about the educational significance of the Nauryz holiday.
As part of the event, first-year students of the “Finance” program (curators: Madina Bazhygaliyeva, Ainagul Zhaparova, Dilnaz Kamataeva) organized an ethno-corner, showcasing national crafts and traditional dishes. The exhibition allowed participants to become more familiar with the everyday life and culture of the Kazakh people.
During the literary segment, Inkar Erzhanqyzy expressively read the poem “Nauryz – Zhil Basy,” and Ayim Oralbekkyzy performed “Ak Bata,” which resonated with the audience. Additionally, first-year students of the “Tourism” program performed the dance “Zhashtar Yrghagy,” adding special energy to the event.
Throughout the evening, participants discussed the significance of the Nauryz holiday, the role of bata in national education, and the place of traditions in modern society. An open exchange of opinions between students and guests demonstrated young people’s strong interest in national values.
At the conclusion of the event, guests and participants enjoyed treats from the festive dastarkhan and left in high spirits. The literary and musical evening “Nauryz Bata” became a meaningful event aimed at promoting national culture and left a lasting impression on all attendees.
