AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE MILITARY-SPORTS EVENT “QUTQARUSHY” WAS HELD.

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the military-sports event “Құтқарушы” was held in observance of World Civil Protection Day. The main goal of the competition was to develop practical skills in emergency response among school students, improve physical endurance, and foster a sense of civic responsibility among youth.

The event brought together teams from local general education schools and military-patriotic organizations. The competition program included stages designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in civil protection: providing first aid, navigation and orientation, and completing physical fitness standards. The conditions of the challenges were made as close to real-life situations as possible, allowing participants to demonstrate not only their athletic preparedness but also their ability to make quick decisions and act cohesively and efficiently.

The final results of the competition were as follows:
1st place — KGU “School-Lyceum No. 11”
2nd place — KGU “General Education School No. 2”
3rd place — KGU “Secondary School No. 18”

All teams demonstrated a high level of discipline and responsibility, achieving strong results across all stages. Winners and prizeholders were awarded cups, certificates, and cash prizes.

Holding events like this helps strengthen cooperation between the university and regional educational institutions, promotes military-patriotic education, and develops practical civil protection and life safety competencies among the younger generation.
