At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, students from the Higher School of Business and Law, Department of Jurisprudence, held a round table titled “Under One Shanyrak.” The event took place as part of the Digital Nauryz 2026 decade, dedicated to the Nauryz holiday and Shanyrak Day — a symbol of unity, friendship, and harmony in the country.
The purpose of the event was to promote friendship and mutual understanding, popularize national values, strengthen social harmony, and cultivate patriotic feelings among students through open discussion.
This day is a special holiday reflecting the unity of the people and mutual respect among representatives of different ethnicities and cultures. For the Kazakh people, the concept of “shanyrak” symbolizes not only the family but also the common home — the entire country. Therefore, it is important to preserve peace, harmony, and strengthen unity while living under one shanyrak.
During the round table, students wore traditional costumes of different peoples, presented their traditions and culture, and performed creative numbers.
Such events help young people gain a deeper understanding of the importance of interethnic harmony and the value of peaceful life within a unified society.
