BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF SARSEN AMANZHOLOV EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY: STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE PLANS
Today, the next meeting of the Board of Directors of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took place. The main purpose of the meeting was to clarify the strategic directions for the university’s development, improve the organizational structure, and approve the work plans for 2026.
The first item on the agenda was the clarification of the development plan for 2025–2029. Board members discussed the strategic goals and key directions for the university’s development over the next five years. During this period, special attention will be paid to improving the quality of education, developing research activities, strengthening international cooperation, ensuring the comprehensive development of students, and implementing innovative projects.
The second item was making changes to the organizational structure. To ensure effective management of the university and fully utilize the professional potential of staff, certain departments and units were revised. These changes will help improve management quality, accelerate decision-making processes, and ensure that the university’s activities align with its strategic goals.
Board members also approved the work plan of the Board of Directors for 2026. It details strategic directions, planned activities, and control mechanisms. This will allow coordination of the university’s activities at all levels and support effective decision-making in the development process.
An important part of the meeting was the approval of the work plans for the internal audit service and the anti-corruption compliance service for 2026. The internal audit service is aimed at strengthening financial and managerial control and organizing the auditing system in accordance with the university’s sustainable development strategy. The compliance service focuses on enhancing transparency, integrity, and legal culture.
During the meeting, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors presented letters of appreciation to staff members who made a significant contribution to the university’s development: Kulzhibek Askenkyzy, Maire Shakerkyzy, Zhannete Amangeldykyzy, and Aleksandr Vladimirovich. This recognition served as a high assessment of their professional work and helped strengthen team cohesion and motivation.
