BRIDGE OF KNOWLEDGE: FACULTY MEMBERS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY ON AN INTERNSHIP IN BAKU UNDER THE ORHUN PROGRAM
Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University continues to strengthen international cooperation and expand academic ties. From March 17 to 31, 2026, a delegation from the Higher School of Business and Law completed an academic mobility program at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in the city of Baku within the framework of the ORHUN program.
The delegation included faculty members Almira Saktayeva, Lyaylya Akhmetova, and Alma Baiguzhinova. The main purpose of the visit was to develop professional competencies, exchange teaching and research experience, and strengthen partnership relations between the universities.
During the program, the faculty conducted classes using modern educational approaches. Special attention was given to interactive teaching methods, case-based technologies, teamwork, and elements of problem-based learning. This format made it possible to effectively develop students’ analytical thinking, decision-making skills, and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
One of the key events was a master class for the UNEC faculty dedicated to modern teaching methods in the context of digitalization. Participants discussed the implementation of digital educational tools and innovative approaches to organizing the learning process, creating a productive platform for experience exchange.
As part of the visit, working meetings were also held with representatives of the Department of International Cooperation and the leadership of the Russian School of Economics. The parties discussed prospects for developing academic mobility, joint research projects, and expanding educational collaboration.
Additionally, the faculty conducted career guidance activities with students, presenting the university’s educational opportunities and areas of scientific research. Participation in cultural events dedicated to the Nauryz holiday contributed to strengthening intercultural dialogue and humanitarian ties.
Following the internship, the faculty members were awarded certificates of participation, and the students received certificates of course completion. The implementation of the ORHUN program once again confirmed its importance as an effective tool for developing international cooperation and integrating educational systems in the context of digital transformation.
