EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY IS THE EDUCATIONAL HUB OF CENTRAL ASIA, BRINGING TOGETHER MANY STUDENTS.

Since 2023, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University has become one of the key platforms of academic mobility for Central Asian students. For the third year in a row, the university has hosted groups of students from Tajikistan, who study with us every semester as part of the academic exchange program. This tradition has become a strong basis for friendship and joint educational projects between the two countries.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, East Kazakhstan University will welcome a record number of participants from Tajikistan – 40 students, who will continue to strengthen the academic and cultural ties that have already become a hallmark of the university.

In addition, the university annually welcomes students from South Korea and Hungary, and the Foundation program opens the way to higher education for applicants from China and Mongolia.

At the same time, the geography of international students continues to expand. In recent years, representatives of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan have been actively enrolling in the university. In the new academic year their number will increase, which once again confirms the status of East Kazakhstan University as an international center of education, cultural exchange and academic cooperation.
