EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL POTENTIAL OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

As part of the Methodological Decade of the Higher School of Information Technologies and Natural Sciences at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the Department of Chemistry organized an exhibition of educational and methodological literature prepared and published by the department’s faculty members.

The purpose of the event was to demonstrate the scientific and methodological potential of the department, promote professional exchange, and enhance the quality of the educational process. The exhibition served as clear evidence of the systematic and productive work carried out by the faculty in developing modern teaching materials that meet educational standards and align with current trends in science and education.

The exhibition featured monographs, textbooks, teaching and methodological manuals, original course syllabi, instructional models, didactic handout materials, as well as mineral collections used in the educational process. Particular interest was generated by practice-oriented materials aimed at developing students’ research skills and strengthening their professional competencies.

The presented publications cover a wide range of chemical disciplines and reflect both fundamental scientific research and applied aspects of teaching chemistry in higher and secondary education. Many of the works were developed with an interdisciplinary approach and incorporate modern educational technologies.

Holding such events helps strengthen academic traditions, stimulates the scientific and methodological activity of faculty members, and increases students’ interest in research activities. The exhibition became an important platform for professional dialogue and the exchange of ideas aimed at further improving the educational process.
