FACULTY MEMBERS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DISCUSSED THE DRAFT OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION LIVE ON ATAMEKEN BUSINESS
Today, a comprehensive discussion on the topic “Draft of the New Constitution. Why Is Foreign Funding Being Terminated?” was held live on the information programs “Tuski Format” and “Dnevnoi Format” of the Atameken Business media holding.
Faculty members of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in the expert programs in an online format, sharing their views on the proposed constitutional amendments. The purpose of the broadcast was to provide professional and legal clarification of a pressing public issue and to deliver clear, well-reasoned information to viewers.
In the Kazakh-language program “Tuski Format,” Zhanna Sadykanova, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Law, выступила as a speaker. She explained the essence and significance of the draft constitutional provisions related to foreign funding, noting that the proposed amendments are aimed at strengthening national security, protecting state sovereignty, and ensuring internal political stability.
In the Russian-language program “Dnevnoi Format,” Aksana Kalenova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Law and Master of Law, presented her perspective. Drawing on international experience, she emphasized that the regulation of foreign funding is applied in many countries and is intended to enhance the transparency of civil society institutions and ensure the rule of law.
During the live broadcast, the speakers also addressed the key principles of the draft Constitution, including the concepts of “Law and Order,” protection of national interests, and prevention of external interference in the internal affairs of the state. In addition, they answered viewers’ questions and provided legal explanations on the discussed topic.
The participation of Amanzholov University faculty members in the program demonstrated the university’s active involvement in socio-political processes and the high level of expertise of its academic staff. The university team intends to continue contributing to discussions on socially significant issues by providing scientific and legal expertise.
