GRANT FUNDING FOR SCIENTIFIC AND SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL PROJECTS DISCUSSED AT EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a training seminar on “Preparation of applications for grant funding for scientific and (or) scientific-technical projects”.

The purpose of the seminar was to conduct an interactive conversation with university teachers on the process of applying for grant funding. Special attention was paid to the issues of correct choice of the project topic, its compliance with the priority directions of scientific and technological development of Kazakhstan.

The speaker of the event was candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, head of the Department of Mathematics Yerlan Ergaliev. He explained in detail to the participants of the seminar the algorithm of work with the portal of the Scientific and Technical Committee, providing visual examples and step-by-step instructions for successful submission of applications.

-Today the competitiveness of the university directly depends on scientific research, and the Department of Mathematics demonstrated by example how to win projects, – said Yerlan Yergaliev.

The speaker also emphasized the importance of the fact that in each direction of training there are scientific projects that receive funding. This not only helps to improve the reputation of the university, but also affects the overall rating of educational programs in the country.
