GREEN ECONOMY AND EFFECTIVE WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: EXPERTS DISCUSSED MODERN CHALLENGES OF RATIONAL WATER USE

At the Department of Ecology and Geography of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a round table was held on the topic “Green Economy and Effective Water Resource Management.”

The event brought together faculty members, students, environmental specialists, and representatives of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control and “Kazaeronavigation” Ust-Kamenogorsk branch.

The Head of the Department, Saltanat Aitkozina, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the relevance and importance of the topic for the training of future professionals.

During the round table, participants presented reports on issues of rational water use, corporate environmental responsibility, the impact of climate change, and the role of education in shaping environmental awareness. An engaging discussion followed, where attendees exchanged experiences and proposed practical solutions.

The meeting concluded with the shared understanding that effective water resource management is only possible through an integrated approach that unites science, practice, and government institutions.
