INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS ON GRANT MANAGEMENT HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, informational and explanatory meetings have begun for graduating students. According to the approved schedule, these meetings will be held separately for each specialty until the end of December.

The purpose of the meetings is to clarify the rules for fulfilling obligations under the state educational grant, increase graduates’ awareness of their rights and responsibilities, and prevent potential issues that may arise during employment.

The first meetings were held with students of the educational programs “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages,” “Translation Studies,” “Russian Language and Literature,” “Kazakh Language and Literature,” and “Journalism.”

During the meetings, students were introduced to the Order of the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 403 dated August 11, 2023. According to this order, young specialists studying on the basis of a state educational grant—including holders of the rural quota, the “Serpin” program, and the Akim’s grant—are obliged to fulfill their grant-related obligations.

Detailed explanations were provided regarding the procedure for fulfilling the grant, employment requirements, mechanisms of accountability, and students’ questions were answered.
