KEY VALUES IN CHOOSING A FUTURE PROFESSION DISCUSSED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a meaningful meeting and exhibition with the participation of the East Kazakhstan Regional Police Department was held for professional orientation purposes. The event aimed to familiarize students with the essence and importance of the law enforcement field.

The ceremonial opening of the meeting began with the performance of national kyues by the instrumental ensemble of the East Kazakhstan Regional Police Department, giving the event a special spiritual color.

During the event, students were presented with video materials and informational slides reflecting the main areas and features of police service. Law enforcement representatives provided detailed information on the role of internal affairs bodies in society, daily activities, responsibilities, and professional requirements imposed on police officers. It was also particularly noted that in police service, concepts such as duty, honor, and courage are of special importance.

Honored guests of the event included: Kanat Sikebaev — senior inspector for special assignments of the personnel department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, police captain; Serik Manapov — deputy head of the East Kazakhstan Regional Police Department, police colonel; and Dauren Balykshinov — deputy head of the personnel department of the East Kazakhstan Regional Police, police major.

As part of the exhibition, students learned about various areas of service in the police, received detailed information on the conditions for joining the service, selection stages, and the required documents. Future specialists had the opportunity to ask questions directly to the representatives of the agency and receive straightforward answers.

The professional orientation meeting and exhibition made a significant contribution to students making an informed choice of their future profession and helped to increase interest in serving in law enforcement agencies.
