The staff of the Higher College of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University celebrated the first day of the Nauryznama Decade – “Kórisu kúni” (the Amal holiday). The event, based on national traditions, aimed to strengthen spiritual values, encouraging unity and mutual understanding among staff and students. The initiative was organized by the Subject-Cycle Commission of “Natural Science Disciplines.”
Kórisu kúni is one of the oldest noble customs of the Kazakh people. On this day, people meet, ask about each other’s health, and exchange warm wishes and kind guidance. As part of the organized event, the college staff visited the Abai East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College, where, following national tradition, they congratulated colleagues on the holiday and highlighted the significance of Nauryz.
During the festive event, national rituals were demonstrated, songs and kuis were performed to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, and warm words and sincere wishes were shared. Students and teachers wore traditional costumes and contributed to the revival of traditions reflecting the unique culture of the Kazakh people.
This event marked the beginning of the Nauryznama festive days and served as one of the important educational initiatives aimed at reinforcing national values in the educational environment. This informative and spiritually meaningful holiday strengthened creative collaboration between educational institutions and contributed to the promotion of national culture.
