MAHMUD SADYBEKOV AWARDED THE “ABAI QUNANBAIULY” BADGE

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the second day of the scientific conference “Topical Issues of Fundamental and Applied Mathematics” continued with a rich and substantive program. During today’s sectional sessions, representatives of various scientific schools from across the country presented the results of their research and engaged in in-depth discussions on current directions in modern mathematics.

One of the significant events of the day was the awarding of the “Abai Qunanbaiuly” badge to Mahmud Sadybekov, General Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, for his substantial contribution to the development of the university. The award was presented ceremoniously by the university’s rector, Professor Mukhtar Tolegen, who particularly emphasized the scientist’s role in advancing domestic science. This recognition is a well-deserved acknowledgment of years of work dedicated to the development of mathematical sciences and strengthening the scientific ecosystem of the region.

Mahmud Sadybekov is the author of research in the areas of well-posed problems for hyperbolic, parabolic, and elliptic differential equations; boundary value problems for mixed-type differential equations; inverse problems in mathematical physics; spectral problems for partial differential equations; spectral properties of ordinary differential operators on intervals; and basis properties of element systems in Hilbert space.

Amanzholov University considers the support of such prominent scientists, the creation of conditions for the development of their scientific ideas, and their contribution to the flourishing of Kazakh mathematics as an essential part of its mission.
