REGIONAL MASTER CLASS AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a regional master class on “Modern Technologies in Foreign Language Teaching” was held, bringing together teachers from the city and region. The event became an important platform for professional dialogue and experience exchange amid the ongoing digital transformation of education.

The participants focused on current issues related to integrating digital tools into foreign language instruction. Teachers explored the use of modern online services and artificial intelligence technologies in lessons, discussed ways to automate the assessment of written assignments, tests, and oral responses, and considered creating unique educational content tailored to students’ proficiency levels.

A particularly engaging segment was devoted to gamification in education. Through specific examples, participants saw how game mechanics, ranking systems, interactive tasks, and competitive elements can enhance student motivation and engagement. Teachers noted that such tools make lessons more dynamic and effective.

Special attention was also given to modern online platforms aimed at developing listening and speaking skills in a remote learning format. Educators reviewed practical cases of using digital resources for effective oral practice and discussed opportunities for hybrid learning.

The master class was conducted interactively. During an open discussion, teachers shared their experiences implementing innovative technologies, addressed challenges, and explored ways to overcome them within school curricula. Participants emphasized the relevance and practical applicability of the tools presented in modern general education.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants received certificates confirming their mastery of new educational technologies. The master class marked an important step in strengthening the professional community of regional teachers and enhancing the methodological foundation for foreign language teaching in the digital age.
