RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS HELD DURING THE “MONTH OF SCIENCE”

Within the framework of the “Month of Science” in the university were held competitions “Best Young Scientist”, “Scholarship named after Zhumash Karimovich Ualiev”, “Best Student Scientific Group”, “Best Higher School for the organization of scientific activities of students”, “Best in Specialty”. The main purpose of these contests is to stimulate research activities of students and young scientists of the university, as well as to develop scientific potential.

“Scholarship named after JUMASH KARIMOVICH UALIYEV” was awarded to the 2nd year student of the educational program 6B04108 – ‘Finance and Accounting’ Aman Ulbosyn. During one semester she will receive 50 000 tenge per month.

Winners of the contest “The Best Young Scientist of 2025” and the owners of cash certificates were Raisov Nurmakhambet Sayatuly, junior researcher of the research center “Surface Engineering and Tribology” – 200,000 tenge, Sagdoldin Zhandos Rashiduly, laboratory assistant of the National Scientific Laboratory of Collective Use – 100 000 tenge, Bolatov Sanzhar Daurenuly, junior researcher of the Research Center “Surface Engineering and Tribology” – 75 000 tenge.

The winners of the contest “The Best Student Scientific Club” were also awarded. In the nomination “The best higher school for the organization of scientific activities of students” won the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, receiving 150,000 tenge. The first place was taken by the club “Civilist” of the Higher School of Business and Law – 75 000 tenge. The head is a candidate of law, associate professor of the Department of Jurisprudence Dyachuk Marianna Ivanovna. The second place was taken by the club “Green Wave” of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, the head of the club – PhD, associate professor of the Department of Ecology and Geography Zhaznaeva Zhanat Kadyrbekovna, chairman of the circle – Mavlyutova Tolkyn, received a certificate for 50,000 tenge. The third place was taken by the circle “Topical issues of finance and accounting: theory and practice” of the Higher School of Business and Law, receiving 25,000 tenge. Head – candidate of economic sciences, professor of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance Sholpanbaeva Kanshaim Zhusupovna, chairman of the circle – Aman Ulbosyn.

In addition, in X traditional regional competition “ABAI O KULARY – 2025”, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaev, the winner of the “Educational Grant” became a student of 11 grade Shilikta secondary school of Zaisan district Akhatbekova Aisholpan.
