SAFETY OF TEENAGERS: LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES HELD AN AWARENESS-RAISING MEETING

          Senior Operations Officer of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the East Kazakhstan Police Department, Police Captain Miras Kuanishevich Mubarakov, and Senior Juvenile Inspector of the Ulbinsky Police Station, Police Major D. M. Zhaksybayeva, held a meeting with the students.
During the event, they addressed several pressing issues, including the illegal use of child labor, involvement in prostitution, prevention of sexual violence, and measures to combat child neglect. Law enforcement officers explained to the adolescents their rights, methods of protecting themselves from dangerous situations, and emphasized the importance of seeking timely assistance.
The purpose of the meeting was to enhance children’s legal awareness, strengthen the prevention of offenses, and ensure the safety of minors in society.
