STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLАV UNIVERSITY RETURNED WITH MEDALS FROM THE KAZAKHSTAN ARMRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP

The Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in armwrestling among adults was held in the city of Talgar, Almaty Region. About 300 athletes from all regions of the country took part in the prestigious competition.

During the tournament, students of Amanzholov University demonstrated a high level of preparation and won prize places. In particular, Zhalgas Torekhanov, a third-year student of the Physical Education and Sports educational program, confidently defeated all his opponents in the 80 kg weight category and became the champion. Throughout the tournament, he showed excellent training and a high level of mastery, securing 1st place.

Another third-year student of the same program, Elaman Bazylbek, competed in the 100 kg weight category. Despite the fact that 18 athletes competed in this category, Elaman performed достойно in intense matches and won an honorable 3rd place.

The achievements of Amanzholov University students confirm the high level of sports training at the institution. We congratulate the championship medalists and wish them further success and new victories in upcoming competitions.
