STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY ADVANCED TO THE QUARTERFINALS OF THE INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMING CHAMPIONSHIP ICPC

The Department of Computer Modeling and Information Technologies of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University has begun studying the AI-Sana platform as part of the National Program for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan.

During the training process, students of the educational programs 6B06102 – “Information Systems,” 6B06101 – “Robotics and Artificial Intelligence,” and 6B01514 – “Informatics” (IP) formed four teams and took part in the qualification stage of The 2025 ICPC Kazakhstan Qualification — the international student programming championship ICPC.

Based on the results of the first qualifying round, two teams successfully advanced to the quarterfinals — The 2025 ICPC Kazakhstan Regional Contest.

ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious student programming competition in the world. The contest brings together tens of thousands of talented students and professors from nearly 3,000 universities in over 100 countries across six continents. Participation in ICPC develops creative thinking, teamwork skills, analytical abilities, and the capacity to make decisions under time pressure.
