STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY BECAME WINNERS OF AN INTERNATIONAL ONLINE COMPETITION

Students of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation at East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov once again demonstrated their academic and research potential by achieving success at the international level. In the VIII International Online Competition, organized by Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky, our students won 3rd place in the Students’ Science category.

The competition brought together young researchers, linguists, and future translators from various universities around the world. Participants presented research projects on foreign language acquisition, translation methods, linguistics, and intercultural communication. The jury evaluated the works based on the level of research, scientific novelty, content presentation, and quality of the presentation.

Representing the university, second-year students of the “Foreign Languages IR” program and third-year students of the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” program showcased their skills. They successfully completed several stages of the scientific challenge: defending research papers, presenting project results, answering questions in English, and demonstrating a high level of professional training.

This achievement is the result of the university’s continuous research work, effectively organized educational process, and the significant contribution of the faculty. Students are trained in accordance with international standards, capable of analyzing projects, substantiating ideas, and making proposals.

The achieved result reflects the students’ diligence and high sense of responsibility, as well as the university’s strategic efforts aimed at ensuring quality education.

In the future, East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov will continue to strengthen cooperation with international partners, focusing on the development of academic mobility and research potential.
